Children's Literature

                                                             for my parents

My mother preferred
Newman to Redford,
Brando above all.

No jazz orchestra in a little
village. Slightly radioactive
I take of my belt, savoring
kid’s chocolate.

General mourning is not active
narrowness. Lonely women die
far away from home, in shady
Buenos Aires, before
they turn forty, older then thirty.

Tremendous number of shifts,
mysterious circumstances and
my natural audacity prevent me
from becoming the bride at each
wedding and the corps
on every deathbed.

How would it feel to fall in
love with gay, shrinking men,
literally homunculus ?

On the contrary what would have
happen if the elegant Swedish king ,
dressed in his dark suit starts
to wipe my tears, caresses
my hair, overwhelmed
with adrenalin ?

Only with you I would
replace roles, trade sexes,
exchange words. Orthodox
lobby should stand calm.

Better luck next time.

Everybody’s sweetheart. And
I address Good evening to
my soul.*

Književnost za decu

                                                 Roditeljima

Majka je više volela
Njumena od Redforda
Branda više od obojice.

Kad malo selo nema
džez orkesta r.  Skidam opasač.
Blago radioaktivna. Jedem
čokoladicu životinsko
cartsvo.

Opšta žalost nije
aktivna teskoba. Usamljene
žene umiru daleko od kuće,
u senovitom Buenos Ajresu,
pre četrdesete godine, starije
od trideset.

Silni obrti, misteriozne
okolnosti i prirodna drskost
sprečavaju me da budem
nevesta na svakom venčanju
i telo na svakom odru.

Kako bi to bilo
voleti homića, čoveka
koji se smanjuje, bukvalno
čovečuljka ?

Ili naprotiv
da mi lepi , švedski kralj
u tamnom odelu obriše suze ,
poljubi ruku, pomiluje me po kosi
plivajući u adrenalinu ?

Samo bih sa tobom
zamenila ulogu, promenila
pol, izmenjala reči. Pravoslavni
lobi može biti spokojan.

Više sreće sledeći put.

Devojka za sve. Kažem
dobro veče svojoj duši*.
