Sarah Wet­zel, poet and engi­neer, is the author of Bathshe­ba Transat­lantic, which won the Philip Levine Prize for Poet­ry and was pub­lished in 2010. After job-hop­ping across Europe and the Amer­i­c­as, Sarah cur­rent­ly teach­es lit­er­a­ture at The Amer­i­can Uni­ver­si­ty of Rome, divid­ing time between Man­hat­tan, Rome, and Tel Aviv, Israel. Sarah holds an engi­neer­ing degree from Geor­gia Tech and a MBA from Berke­ley. More impor­tant­ly for her poet­ry, Sarah com­plet­ed a MFA in Cre­ative Writ­ing at Ben­ning­ton Col­lege in Jan­u­ary 2009. Recent pub­li­ca­tions can be found in Nim­rod, Iden­ti­ty The­o­ry, Val­paraiso, Super­sti­tion Review, and Calyx.

Poète et ingénieur, Sarah Wet­zel est l’auteur du recueil Bathshe­ba Transat­lantic, qui a rem­porté le prix de poésie Philip Levine et a été pub­lié en 2010. Après avoir exer­cé plusieurs métiers à tra­vers l’Europe et les Amériques, elle enseigne actuelle­ment la lit­téra­ture à l’université améri­caine de Rome, partageant son temps entre Man­hat­tan, Rome et Tel Aviv, en Israël. Elle détient un diplôme d’ingénieur de Geor­gia Tech et un MBA de l’université de Berke­ley. Sa poésie a surtout béné­fi­cié du MFA en Cre­ative Writ­ing qu’elle a obtenu de l’université de Ben­ning­ton en jan­vi­er 2009.
